I dont know of anyone who got a stipend so thats a good sign. Kellogg doesnt give out all their scholarships during admits and some people very well might turn them down for HBS or Stanford. So thats still a possibility. You might be able to get Duke to allow you to push your date back, only way to find out is to ask. Its tough when the deposit amount is pretty high but some are only a grand which isnt too bad in the grand scheme of things.

I think Duke means Kellogg is going to give $$$ for a trip to go to admit weekend. Not a scholarship but money pay for a flight and hotel for DAK.

No I was not offered a scholarship. I was offered a stipend to cover some of my expenses (e.g. flight) for the DAK weekend (April 18 - 20).

Ah okay, thats something I never really understood. Tuck asks to hand them your tax report of 2007 by March 1st. I havent done that one yet, as I am still waiting for some papers from a insurer which will help me reduce my tax load.

So, in order to qualify for loans provided by Tuck I will have to file that, correct?

Sorry to ask this here, but maybe the concept itself is new to other internationals as well. Thanks.


Just curious, what exactly is the tax form you have to provide? I am wondering what kind of material i have to provide as an international to get a loan. I haven't gotten in anywhere yet, just trying to prepare. Thanks.

looks like Kellogg is posting dings today. I have all my fingers and toes crossed. I even asked the guy in next cubicle to cross his for me.

How do they notify rejections? Email? Online Status Checker Update?

Certainly you don't want any email from Kellogg.
Look like Kellogg calls the admits and email the ding.

Still recovering from my first ding of the season from Chi...

i did not get any email from Kellogg *yet* but my status has changed to :

I think it most likely means a ding. Any one else seeing this or something different ?

I just checked and mine is still complete. Your change in status could be a good thing!

Here is mine:

"All the required elements of your application are complete.

If your interview has been completed, the application has been submitted for review to the admissions committee. If your interview has not been conducted..."

I don't know what stage am I in though...don't check it too often. Did yours used to look like mine?

I can't work today, anyone else with this problem?

It cannot be a good thing for two reasons: a) good news is broken by the phone call b) no admits have been reported today and it looks like today is a ding day.

ah.. i had high hopes from kellogg.

@bkk mine used to say that until last night. so i guess you are good so far.

I dont think I got an email saying my status changed after I was admitted, they said in their phone call it would. I know that Nervous' status changed to the "send transcripts and official GMAT" before she got a call.

I did read about that message on BW, F5 is probably getting a serious work out by a lot of folks. Best bet is to simply email or call...that would be a lot better than stressing over a ding or admit without knowing.

pandeyrav -- I am seeing the exact same message. Let's just hope neither of us gets an email from Kellogg, phone calls are fine, emails - no thanks! :)
