Impressive work. Looks like the next two days will be... interesting. What was the total sample size?

Very useful data!

I guess, since the calls started 10 days before deadline, the calls’ distribution would be flatter.

In my application I made a mistake. In my mobile phone number I did not include the international prefix, but the local one. There is any place in the app to correct this mistake? Or should I mail admissions?

You can update your personal info. Through the original application link (i.e from where you submitted your application, not the application status check page). There's a button on the top which says update application.

So how are you guys being notified about Dings?

Like every other school, do you have a view decision link on the application website?

There seems to be an email and a status update here: http://www.kellogg.northwestern.edu/Programs/FullTimeMBA/TakeAction/Check_Application_Status.aspx

Have they sent out all the dings for today! I mean do they send ding at 9.00 and then call the admits?

I think that's how it works.

Michmax3 - If I may ask so, why do you prefer Kellogg over Booth?

I'm going for CPG marketing and Kellogg has the clear advantage, plus I'm definitely more of a social, team-oriented person so feel I'd fit in better there.

Michmax, Did you get the money with the admit or did it come a few weeks later? IE I'm wondering when we'd hear from Kellogg if we were getting money. Note first - I'm worried about getting in - second - when would money be disclosed?

Thanks.

Kellogg is a little different with scholarships. While some big scholarships (full tuition/half tuition named scholarships) are given at admission, there are many others given during the financial aid process. Most people I know didn't get anything when they got the admit call, but got some money later when they applied for financial aid - in some cases a pretty substantial amount of money. It makes it a little harder to compare \$\$ offers since you may not get financial aid from Kellogg until after other schools' decision dates, but it is what it is.

Congrats to everyone who've gotten the call. For everyone still waiting, try to keep your mind off it and not overthink the waiting. The order is completely random - there's no correlation with application or interview date, name, location, favorite color, or any other demographic data. When its your turn to get a decision, you'll get the decision; but there's no way to know when it's going to happen.

According to this page, we should be expecting to get up to a 33% acceptance rate on the forums:

This is counting all failure to update statuses as dings.
