zulu Would you mind posting the link where this information resides? My client seems to think that first wave is February 17th?

when are the MIT round 2 interviews typically held? 2-3 weeks after invite; or much before?

I am not sure about R2, however, for R1 they mentioned that they were aiming to have at least a week between notification and the interview.
The latest interviews were held around 5-6 weeks after the initial interview invitation as far as I know.

The 'Your MIT Sloan Application is Complete' email mentioned that the 'interview invitations will be sent on Thursday, February 21 and Thursday, February 27, 2020'. Since Thursday is actually Feb 20, what do we make of this? Is the first wave coming on Thursday (Feb 20) or Friday (Feb 21)?

I'd stick to the date as opposed to the weekday

Interesting. I thought that since Thursday is the common theme in both, that maybe we should stick to that.

How did it happen in R1? Were there multiple waves too?

Yes, there were two days as well, 24th and 31st of October as far as I remember.

Sloan stated that not being informed on the first date doesn't mean anything in regard to the interview decision.
Although I had a hard time believing that, I was informed on the 2nd date and it was a positive outcome. :)

Thanks! That's quite helpful and encouraging to know. :)
And interestingly enough, both the dates you mentioned were Thursdays, so maybe there could be a pattern here! :D

Does anyone have insights on chances for an interview in Cambridge if you didn't receive an invite today?

The email from Sloan said selection between 21st and 27th was based on their interviewers' travel schedules/locations.

On ClearAdmit, I see invites from people in Boston, NYC, DC, San Fran and Chile.

If you indicated the above locations as your preferred interviewing locations, and you did not receive an invite today, does that mean its game over?
