The content of the recommendation will take precedence over everything else. It depends on what they write in the recommendation - whether they make a strong case to support you for you personality strengths, give impressive examples and show enthusiasm in recommending you. Secondly, most b-schools ask for recommendations from direct supervisors or people who have worked very closely with you and seen your work from close quarters. If your Singapore client checks these boxes, then you should consider him. That said, if you have disclosed your plans to apply within your present company, then one recommendation should still preferably come from there.

Regarding the Singapore client, think of what extra value will they add, what new perspectives will they bring about you that will benefit the recommendation.

Both carry equal weight and the test scores are just one of the many criteria.

From NUS website:

All applicants are required to take either the GMAT or GRE exam, regardless of their academic or professional background. We do not have a minimum score required for admission as standardized tests are just one of several admission criteria.

A high GRE score does not guarantee admission, and a below-average GRE score does not eliminate a candidate. Scores may be self-reported; however, when you receive an offer of admission, official scores will then be requested for verification.

Hope it helps

Silly question I know, but can anyone tell me the correct program from the drop down. I am targeting the normal NUS MBA

Programme Type: Coursework
Faculty *: NUS Business School
Programme*: ??

When I choose the MBA Semester AY20/21, I can see just 2 drop downs choices, Real Estate and Healthcare. As such I am in confusion.
Please help.

Hi punksin007, I have attached the screenshot for your reference. You can leave that option empty.

Hope this helps.

PS: A question silly to others, might not be silly to you ;)

Hi,

In Test Details section, when I select GMAT, the form asks for Reference Number. Is this the GMAT ID or Appointment Number? Most other applications have asked for GMAT ID so wanted to clarify this.

In the NUS full-time MBA application form, where do we need to upload the resume? There is no section where it explicitly calls out to upload resume. Do I upload it in the "Documents upload" section?

Sure. Meanwhile, can you let me know where do we need to upload the resume? There is no explicit section for the same. Do we upload it in the "Documents upload" section?

I have uploaded all remaining things from the Checklist in the "Documents upload" section. I guess that's the only option. Name the documents clearly as to what they represent. That should do in my opinion.

Hey Guys, I have a doubt. Does the mail goes to your recommenders for recommendation after you submit your application or as soon as you enter their email?

The mail goes as soon as you submit your recommender's email address.

Instructions
Please refer to instructions from the Faculty / School on the number of referees to assign for this application.
Your referee(s) will be receiving an email notification on submission of referee report immediately after you have submitted your application online.
The deadline of submission of referee report will be 14 days from the date of email notification.

These are the instructions on the website, does this mean email notification will go only after submission of application and will have a 14 days window?
