Thanks for the rundown solaris, and good luck! +1. I'm in for R2, and NYU might be a bit of a dark horse for me. The location is a big draw for me - there's only one New York City. Maybe I'll see you there next fall!

That's impressive!

As far as the rest of your interview it sounds like it went well. I'd feel good about the fact that NYU accepts a large percentage post interview and I wouldn't worry about the "NYU is my first choice" comment. I think that was probably a positive move (at worst neutral) since NYU is one of those schools that really wants you to be its top choice (hence their crazy ass essay questions about your experience with the school).

I agree, from wht I have heard, NYU has this inferiority complex that people view them as a backup to CBS. Anything that establishes fit and convinces them that they r ur top choice cannot be a wrong move! btw, great debrief solaris

Thanks guys, here's to hoping that all my NYU Stern cheerleading on chat does not come to an anti-climactic end. And rjacobs, congratulations on getting in that R2 application, and if all goes well I'll look forward to both of us heading to Stern next fall. :wink:

I figured I would jinx myself by writing that last night...

Just received a waitlist notification. Guess that's a step up from my first 2 rejections... :|

Oh, and congrats solaris! How about you go to Cornell, so I can take your spot at NYU?
