Hey just curious, when looking at the table of the reported GPAs, are people posting the GPA of the last 60 units or for the full CGPA? I don't think Rotman calculates the CGPA...just looking for a better understanding of where I stand. Thanks in advance

Just interviewed by Ivey last week. I was told to expect a positive news half way through and at the end of the interview. So I am hoping that I will get into Ivey.
My Concern is that I haven't researched too much about Rotmans MBA program because I wanted to apply to US schools only. I have two questions here
1) Is it too late to apply since Rotman doesn't have rolling admissions anymore. Therefore I will have to wait for atleast another 2 months for a decision from Rotman.
2) If anyone could share their thoughts on why they chose Rotman over Ivey.

I think you'd be alright to apply Rotman still, they have extra Rounds and still treat it similar to a rolling admission.
Ivey's a great program too, but really you are looking at 1yr vs 2yr. That's a huge difference, and it really depends on which meets your goals better. I think the general perception is they are both great with Ivey having slightly better consulting placement, and Rotman slightly better for finance placement.

Thanks a lot for your suggestion. I'll apply to Rotman just to have another option.

I agree entirely with this.
I also agree with this....Seems like Rotman and Ivey are the top programs in Canada. I read Mixed reviews on Schulich. Whats up with Iveys low ranking out of the Top 6 schools in Canada????? Weird....

cvsmech, don't worry too much about waiting months to hear from Rotman. They contacted me within days of my application submission (before the deadline for that round), and I was accepted less than a week after my interview. If you are a desirable candidate, they will speed up the process so that they have an upper hand over other schools.

I applied on Monday, got my interview invite today from Afro. Gonna interview in less than a week. 9 days from submission to interview, I'm impressed. Seems like they have their **** together.
