I don’t think they would. But a ridiculous number of candidates have been put on the waitlist this year. Any possible reasons behind it?

Do you have to formally accept the waitlist? Or is it just asssumed you want to be on it. I’ve heard in the past you have to accept it?

The decision letter said nothing about accepting the waitlist offer.

waitlisted. would love to discuss with people how to get off waitlist. Thinking about retaking GRE... Anyone know if this would help at all?

The waitlist email says they will give an update on our status by March 14th but R2 decisions go out March 23rd. Based off my research, in the past it seems like people have just been accepted off the waitlist along with the R2 admits, but I guess that's changed?

Anyone heard any updates from Wharton? The monthly updates mentioned in the first waitlist email weren’t sent.

I’m also curious about the update date. The email says Friday, March 14, but March 14 is a Tuesday.

Waitlisted today in R2. I'm an international candidate and don't know what's gonna happen next. If I'm supposed to wait until the R3 decision deadline, this will leave me with an extremely tight timeframe for loan and visa applications. I don't know what to do. any ideas / suggestions?

Hi everyone, do you think having two alumni send a letter of support would be better than having one or would it be too much? Should I stick with one or have two friends submit if that will make any difference? What do you think? Thank you!

Even if you submit 2 or 1 it doesn’t matter as Wharton is very dynamic we don’t know how they move the waitlist candidate

I got recommended from 1 alumni he himself said i am not sure as he had his batchmates who got admitted without even sending updates or recommendations and his friends who sent 2 recommendations and updates per month and didn’t get admit
