Hi,
What should be a reasonable word count for the first 2 (short) questions:

1. Why have you selected your specialization of choice? What actions have you taken to better understand your intended specialization?
2. What are your career goals immediately following the completion of your degree? In the event that your career goals change or shift from your original intentions, what is your alternative plan?

Also, any advice on what to highlight on the 2nd part of the 1st questions regarding how one has better understood the intended specilization?

The max characters is 3000. So if you consider average word length to be about 7(including spaces) then the word count would be 420-450 words approx. That is enough to paint your story.
However i suggest you to paste your answers in Microsoft word and check the characters with spaces number before submitting your answers.

Hi
Can you please let us know what is happening with the 2019 intake admissions. I don't think most of them update it on this forum. So you can shed some light on if the admissions team is currently reviewing the apps or have already started to roll out interviews or admits or are they planning to in the near future.

From Decision Tracker I see we have around 10 applicants for this school. So I am not sure how actively applicants report results here. So any insights from dashridoy would be a great help

Hi, the application process is going on as per as the schedule, from my best knowledge. I am in touch with couple of the candidates who received the final offer in the early round. And my department director has mentioned that they are reviewing applications and interviewing candidates, but in the early round they interview less. so I can say that the application process is in progress. You will hear from them for sure - I haven’t seen anyone who submitted their application and didn’t hear back. As the next round decision date is 21 dec it likely that your application might receive an interview call. you can expect to hear from the admission committee in the next couple of weeks.

There was a scare last year that Wisconsin Maddison was shutting down its MBA program. I don't remember exactly why was that. Should we be concerned?

Micky1005: Good Question.
yes, it was last year. the news was in the line of shutting down the MBA programme in Wisconsin. and it received a lot of heat from students, alumni, and board members of all the specialisations. without going much into details of that, i can state that- the impact of that news is turned out to be extremely positive for students. last year we had 100% internships, and this year as well many students have already received their internship and full-time offers, and so on. from my experience, that news brought our alumni even more closer to our current students. I guess this would impact our learning from our alumni and would also impact school employment stats.

So, in conclusion, you don't have to worry about it at all.
