I got my interview invite too. And I submitted on the due date. So there doesn't seem to be a great deal of correlation between submission date and interview request date.

Besides the fact that I've never heard of them accommodating such a request, I doubt that "we didn't hit it off" would be sufficient grounds for a re-interview anyway.

This might be a good time to point out that interviews are not phase gates - they are not make or break. Strong interviews won't get you in any more than a weak interview will keep you out. The interviewers comments simply become part of your file and are reviewed alongside everything else at committee.

Got an interview invite.

My app went complete on Oct 24th. I had actually lost total hope till now.

Honestly, i am in total awe for Booth for extending me an interview invite. My app was only true stuff with no hifi things. I am impressed and happy that Booth accepted the plain me with just great ideas for future :)

If it helps anyone who's still holding hope, I just got an interview request. Regretfully, I submitted my application on the last possible minute (11:59pm cst) on the last date so I figured that it would take a while for a posting on my account. I was told that they would still send out decisions until tomorrow so there's plenty of time remaining.

Right up until I received the request I was completely heartbroken because this is my 3rd attempt to get into Chicago. Anyone still holding out keep your head up there's still plenty of time left! :-D

Hey all, just fyi...i spoke with one of my buddies who is a first year at Booth and he said Apps are up 20% Y/Y (according to Rose). obviously take this for what its worth, but hoping for the best I suppose.

Got an interview invite today. Wondering whether I should opt for an on-campus interview or an alumni one. I really want to go to Chicago, visit the campus, talk to students and attend a class, but my work schedule has been very hectic and may not allow for 1-2 days of leave. I can interview on Saturday, but that only serves half the purpose of visiting the campus. Any inputs?
