Can you PLEASE decline the offers that you won't accept ASAP

Dear all:
First of all, congratulations to all the applicants who got offers!
As we all know it is a very unique situation this year - much more applicants for Master of Accounting Programs. As a result, a lot of applicants have been deferred or put on waiting lists. I am just wondering if you have made a decision, can you please turn down the other offers that you have? I understand some of you might not want to communicate your decisions with the schools that you want to decline, or just want to let the offers expire. However, this may impact other candidates' offers and decision making. (as a personal example, I was put on the waiting list of the program that I like the most. But I have to accept an offer and pay $1000 deposit to a program that admitted me or decline the offer by this Friday.)
So, if you have decided which offer you would accept or the schools that you definitely will not go, can you PLEASE contact the schools asap, so that applicants who were wait listed can be moved forward in the process?
Thank you very much!
