Hi Anupag,

I got admit your avatar sticks out.

My reasoning is 4 diff color avail for 3 diff plants.
4 for the first * 3 avail for the second * 2 avail for the third=24 diff arrangmts.

Your more of a mathematician than I am so explain yours.

Curly. Your method is also correct.

My way of reasoning was - You have to choose three pots out of 4 for placing on the row. that is 4c3. Once placed on the row, these three pots can be arranged in 3! ways among themselves. Hence the total number =24.
But your way is a neat way and I like it more than my way.
