Hi,

I am really confused on which school to join.

1. Carlson - 100 % tuition waiver
2. UIUC ( University of Illinois ) - 50 %
3. Kelley - 20000$ + GA offer worth 34000 $ - together around 30 % of total expenses .

Financially , Carlson looks like the best deal but Kelley is a good School with a better weather and better brand. I am an international candidate so placements is a major criteria. I have heard the the local companies in Minnesota do not hire international students that much.

Please comment.

I would have gone with Kelley...it has small batch size ...good repute...moreover it will depend on what electives you want to take up....If you want SCM ...UIUC , should be ur call....If you want strategy, entrepreneurship.....kelley should be ur calll. But with UIUC and Kelley in my kitty , iwud have never opted fr Carlson

Consider kudos If my post helps

In your case I would definitely choose Carlson. Kelley has a lot going for it, good placements this year, excellent alumni network and a great community. However, Carlson really wants you to attend and has equally robust salary numbers. Community and network might not be as huge. A lot will also depend on what you want to do post graduation? If you are thinking even 30% about marketing as a career, choose Kelley. Weather wise, there is not much difference between the two. Winters in Bloomington can get pretty severe too.
