SO initial price = x, there is a 20% profit, then 10% and finally another 20% to become y..
thua $$x*\frac{120}{100}*\frac{110}{100}*\frac{120}{100}=y..............\frac{y}{x}=\frac{12*11*12}{1000}$$
You can calculate to get 1584/1000 or by simply looking at the product 11*12*12, you should look for multiple of 11 and multiple of 9.
Property of multiple of 11.... Difference of addition of alternate digits is 0 or multiple of 11 so 1584 means 1+8-(4+5)=9-9=0 so multiple of 11

let price be 100\$= x
then for each successive move in stage
we have
Packer = 100*1.2 = 120
wholesaler ; 120 * 1.1 = 132
retailer = 132*1.2 ; 158.4 =y
so y/x = 158.4/100 = 1584/1000
IMO A
