Hi Scott and Omari,
Could you please tell me whether I have any chance entering top schools in the US (Stanford, Berkeley, UCLA, Harvard, Columbia) or in Canada (Mc Gill, HEC Montreal)?
I want to apply for fall 05; for top US schools, is the third round a dead end for people with my profile?
Here is my background:
- 26 yrs, French;
- Dr Veterinarian, with 11 months as a practitioner in clinics in France, and 17 months as a Volunteer at the French Embassy in the Netherlands (where I was responsible for bilateral health and regulatory questions), so only 28 months of professional experience;
- GPA: ? (French scale: 12.6 / 20, so it's considered satisfactory to good);
- GMAT: 720 (96%), equally split between VB (91%) and QT (90%).
- Toefl: 263.
I want to make a career change and head towards pharmaceutical industry (managerial position) or consulting. Do you think that I should write in my essays that my professional goals can be both pharmaceutics and consulting, or should I cite only one?
I thank you very much in advance for your answer!
Best regards,
Alex
