Will admissions really care about the new integrated reasoning?

i just started reading official guide gmat 13th edition yesterday.
in that it wass written that integrated reasoning is not counted in the main score....
that means that even if all the integrated reasoning questions are wrong ,it doesn't affect our score? is that so or i am reading it wrong....need help.....reply asap.....

We have special subforum dedicated to Integrated Reasoning: integrated-reasoning-177/

For example check this topic: the-next-generation-gmat-gmat-integrated-reasoning-130224.html

You are welcome to post any question there.

The fact is it would be scored separately like the AWA and will be considered separately. This section would not be taken seriously atleast for a year before a considerable amount of testers have taken it and a analysis could be done on it.

But i'm sure it would be used to assess our real life analytical skills.

Great! how much will the CAT cost? How many questions in the bank (quant and verbal independantly)? Will there be overlap with gmatclub tests?

Absolutely (and also annoying clicking sound to simulate your neighbor typing, sneezing, and making noises with his chair).

That sounds like a great piece of distraction one could get :)

bb, I currently have access to the GMATClub tests (as I have posted more than 200 posts over last 1.5 years). Does it mean that I will be automatically allowed to access the upcoming GMAT CAT Tests?

No matter whether I get the access of the CATs for free, I appreciate the GMATClub core members' effort to bring such expectation to reality. Cheers!

Yes, you will have an option to convert your old access to the new subscription. You can choose which one you want to use, but you can't use both and you can't go back once you convert. You will be able to try the new CAT tests June 5, 6, and 7.

Re: Changes coming to GMAT Club on June 5th [#permalink]
Hi BB,

I have access to club test(bought it 2-3 months ago) I have given most of test and by now I have made a custom list of questions which I want to revisit again and again by putting them in flag or review list for each test individually..If i decide to migrate to new test format, will there be a way to keep those questions for reference sake.?
also is new format going to have overlap with existing test questions or are they totally fresh?

Thanks.
Nikhil.

It is very refreshing to note that there are some changes coming on this forum. I want to know if there will be any more GMATClub Verbal Tests this time. I think having extra practice for the verbal section will be beneficial to many of those who are preparing to take the exam, especially those who may have to retake it (including me, will post my GMAT Experience debrief in due time).
