Try this one - my-comprehensive-quant-flashcards-109836.html we have a few places with them but often examples are added and more than just formulas.

Thank you
:lol: it is not about a score but it is about improvement. It is like travel - can you reach London by walking for 40 days? it depends... if you are in Scotland, then most likely but if you are in Japan then no way.

And looks like TTP has made a nice sheet: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1x2itpT ... jKtPf/view and it seems to be already updated for GMAT Focus (all geometry removed)

use test numbers make y = 100 x = 10; then the question is 10 is what percent of 100 (which means m = 10) then solve 100 is what percent of 10 (it is 1000) so since that answer is 1000, the correct answer choice will be whatever equals 1000 when you plug in m which 10,000/m would be 10,000/10 = 1000

If m > 0 and x is m percent of y, then, in terms of m, y is what percent of x ?
y=(100*x) /m
So to find out what % of x is y(for example to find out what % of 10 is 5, we do (5/10)*100) just do (y/x) *100. The x will cancel out and we’ll be left with (100*100)/m

If m > 0 and x is m percent of y, then, in terms of m,
y is what percent of x ?

guys can someone please explain this

the answer given is 10,000/m
If m > 0 and x is m percent of y, then, in terms of m, y is what percent of x?

A. 100m

B. 1/100m

C. 1/m

D. 10/m

E. 10000/m

x is m percent of y translates to:

    \(y*\frac{m}{100}=x\);
    \(\frac{y}{x}=\frac{100}{m}\)

y is what percent of x translates to:

    \(x*\frac{?}{100}=y\);

    \(?=\frac{y}{x}*100\).

Since from the above \(\frac{y}{x}=\frac{100}{m}\) then:

    \(?=\frac{y}{x}*100=\frac{100}{m}*100=\frac{10,000}{m}\).

Answer: E.

A palindrome is a number that reads the same backwards or forwards, for example 282 or 494. The first three digits of a five-digit palindrome form a series of consecutive positive integers. If the sum of five digits is seven times the third digit, what is the sum?

Is there any difference in the type of Quant questions being asked in focus edition compared to the previous classic edition ? (I am aware geometry is removed, the question is mainly about whether I have to prepare anything additional for Quant in the focus edition)
