this one too
Let rev in 2001 be y
2000 2001 2002
x. y z

Percentage increase from 2000 ->2001 = (y-x)/x
Percentage increase from 2001 ->2002 = (z-y)/y

According to question
(y-x)/x = (z-y)/y

solve for y
y^2-xy=xz-xy
=> y^2=xz
=> y = sqrt(xz)

Hope this helps

answer will be 3...
from a1 to a6 - if you’ll calculate using the formula given, it adds upto 0
so till 996 terms, sum will be 0
and then for the next 4 terms, it will add up to 3 (-1, 1, 2 and 1)

Oh yeah 75%

Mb

Initial CP = (1/0.55x)=(20/11x)
Final CP =(1/1.1*2x)=(5/11x)
So difference =15/11x
That is 75% of initial CP

Let’s assume 20 students name start with différents letters from A to T

We selected 3 out of 20 then reduce the different cases of 3 consecutives letters

C²⁰₃ =20!/3 !×17!=1140

Then let’s reduce how many case 3 names can be consecutive

6*3 =18
Hence 1140-18=1122
