I understand how to get 40, but I thought it should be 40 and 13 not 40 and 12, because using An= a + (n-1) 2, formula on both we get 40 and 13 as answers.
The question says 25 to 79, inclusiveso the sum should be from 26 till 79
If you take 13, then you will be removing 25 from the answer
so you need to take one less term.
