but if I do 4.5 - 3 i.e 1.5 + 4.5 -4 i.e 0.5 adding them makes 2

we need less than that

also this as well

nope, so just remove the absolute brackets and do a simple solve for x

you will get 2x < 9, which means x<4.5

then just multiple everything by negative and change the signs

also this as well
Should be -2 i think

Verbal and DI are a bit different compared to the real exam.

Are they tougher or easier or are the types of questions themselves different

DI is tougher than the real exam.

If you want to use them to build stamina , you can go for them. Although I won’t recommend , since you have 6 tests which can be reset twice.

For Experts’ Global mocks, what is the level of the Quant and Verbal sections?

Are they tougher than the real exams, or diametrically different?

I am in a dilemma currently...
I have subscription to Experts Global - 15 mocks!
Should I invest in official mocks or rather I just practice the GMAT prep (focus) questions from the forums and use experts global mocks to build stamina? 🤔

Hi, in the question its mentioned, "What % less is the price of larger package...." so my understanding was to compare it over the price of regular package. Hence the incorrect answer.
Can someone please explain the reasoning why the base should be of the large package and not regular one?

I basically did: (0.4/1)*100 while it should be (0.4/1.4)*100
did not understand why base should be 1.4 and not 1

To make it easier to understand let us look at it from basic idea. Let us assume initially y ounces were sold for ’y’USD. so price per ounce is y/x. Now the weight has increased to 1.4x. this means that the new price per ounces is y/1.4x. when you take a percentage of final to initial, it is : ((y/1.4x)/(y/x))*100. Which becomes (1/1.4)*100. Now subtract that value from 100 to get the difference: 100 - (1/1.4)*100. Which leads to (0.4/1.4)*100
