A quarter is 1/4, two quarters is 2/4, aka 1/2 or half. So 2 quarters, I.e. half a year would be6 months

Now it’s cleared

Now I’m into venn diagrams, I got the percentage of the required switch as 45. Now how to convert this into number of light switches.

divide it by 2 as well to eliminate double counts
10C2 won’t have double counts. Just the possible number of pairs of 2 people.

2 different people in a pair are only counted only as 1 pair in 10C2

8 is like 15/15 equal division but 12/18 is as per preference so only the difference was 3 that will affect
