Can anyone tell what’s the placements scenario for the executive PGP programs at the IIMs? Do IIMs assist the students in the placement process after their EPGP program?

Yes. For one year full time residential programs (IIMA - PGPX, IIMB - EPGP, IIMC - MBAEx etc.), IIMs support and assist placements. Placements reports are readily available on their website

Thanks. I heard that the placements for these executive programs in some IIMs are student driven and not college driven. Do you know if that can be considered a drawback?

It is unlikely that placements are entirely student driven. Yes, there are Placement Committees and students talking to companies to come to campus for placements, but it is eventually supervised by the institute itself. Good placements are essential to a college’s reputation

Yes quant is much more advanced and has all the editions of the OG. DI is growing everyday, a lot of the OG material is there. You may want to consider buying the DI guides to get access to the OG question bank
