Good news! It looks like, in addition to the GMAT itself, Admissions Consulting questions will be on the table, thanks to Tani Wolff, an expert Kaplan consultant!

Hi Everyone!

I'm looking forward to a chance to chat with you. Post your questions here, and I'll begin by addressing issues from this forum. But don't worry if you can't think of anything--I'll open up the floor to questions later on in the chat.

Just a heads up--I will NOT be able to answer individual test-format questions for logistical reasons. I am, however, happy to answer specific content questions related to mathematical, grammatical, or logical principles, strategies for specific questions types, or general study tips. And of course, any and all questions about Kaplan's online, live, and off-the-shelf materials will be answered!

I look forward to seeing you there!

Need advice on Verbal section especially SC. Progressing very slowly.
I often forget SC rules and tricks.
eg. gerund vs infinite vs particle.

I score well on CR/RC if i m regularly practicing them. If I solve them after gap of 1 week, my accuracy reduces badly.

Eli, what are your thoughts on taking mock tests:

- How many tests one should reasonably take?
- How often to take tests during say a 1 month preparation?
- How to get the most information out of them?

Thank you.

Thanks to everyone who visited!

I'm looking in to getting transcripts available for those of you who couldn't make it; hopefully next time we'll be able to find a time that will work for you west-coast GMATers as well. In the mean time, keep up the hard work, and PM me or any other Kaplan representative with any questions!

Unfortunately I have missed it. Chat transcripts will be great.

Hi Nimeshshreshta,

Thanks for posting this question! Unfortunately, you've chosen the wrong thread--this one is over two years old! You're probably best off posting a new thread in the math section. When you do, make sure you double-check your transcription. I'm fairly sure the first term in this list should be 31, not 3. And in order for 3k to mean the correct thing, the question needs to explain what k is; it's meant to be a missing digit, not a real variable, correct?
