Most GMAT questions involve the manipulation of algebraic expressions.

I attached a document in which I summarized most algebraic tricks that the GMAT could throw at you.

Summary looks great but there is at least an error, in Special Case, second row. I haven't checked the rest

Correction on this sheet, for the special case (post above mentions it)


answer should look like this (below) --

7^3+7^2= 7(7^2+7) --> 7(49+7) --> 7(56) = 392

OR

7^3+7^2= 7^2(7+1) --> 7^2(8) --> 49(8) = 392
