'A' is the best!

A - so...as to be. is the correct idiom! (I like this idiom )
B - so...that, voilation
C - Awkaward, wordy.
D - 'gradual enough to' would have been better.
E - Wordy. "gradual enough to" is teh correct form.

"A" is the economic, short & sweet!

Best choice is A. the others are awkward, wordy or unclear.

I also think A.

I was confused between A and B as I was not sure what was the correct idiom.

"so....as to be.." vs. "so...that"

what will follow after 'be' should be a noun.

so...that...
what will follow after 'that' should be a clause.
