Hi

I have a question on MGMAT word trans ch 12.....I have covered this entire book except the last chapter on Combinatorics ,probability and stats....Which i might cover tomorrow...

What i want to know is ..how important is this chapter?

The reason i am asking this because i have read it somewhere that the chances of Comi and prababi are very less...and even if it does appear..there might be 1 or 2 ques's on it....

So should i read that chapter?

If you are aiming high..700+ and actually doing well on the real test then you should def expect a few questions from this area to pop up...

Going through it is definitely advisable -- In case you get relatively easy on in that concept.
You never want to miss an easy one in the test. I would just get the basics absorbed and move on.

Ya to me the general chapter on combi and probabi...was not difficult had good accuracy too..on prob set and OG ques.....
But yes as you suggested reading it is advisable and if time permits...will work on problem set too.........

The whole chapter shouldnt take more than 4-5 hours to complete. Add an hour to get a look and feel of the problems...so half a days work and you should be able to takle the easy to medium level Qs.
As commented above, you MUST score on the easier Q's...
