Thanks for all of the congrats, everyone! On Friday, I kept going back and looking at the e-mail about every 5 minutes just to make sure it was real!

Of course Mr. ishcabibble and I went out and celebrated Friday night. However, the horrible OSU loss on Sat. did put a bit of a damper on things. :?

Out of the admits...haddy and djhouse, did either of you receive scholarships? Or does Columbia let you know later about scholarship awards? I think it would be interesting not only to see admits/dings, but also to see scholarship awards, if any.

No scholarship news for me yet…. At CBS, usually merit-based scholarships are announced with your admission decision but need-based scholarships need to be applied once you are admitted..

It looks like there's another Columbia admit. They are loading up on GMAT Clubbers. Congrats to todolist for her admit to both Columbia and Wharton.

That has to be a typo...I am sure that it was just supposed to be withdrew. I mean they just finished interview invites and the first bunch of dings.

Have there not been any recent updates? No more admits or dings?

Good job guys, that's actually pretty early and many admits already.
By this time last year I still had no idea I would be doing an MBA, actually was still studying for the GMAT by now...

River, congrats. I felt like something was due to break. I asked if there was anything new, and BAM!, 15 minutes later you get the news. Well done, the pressure is off, now let the admits start to roll.

I am so amazed I got accepted this early. I thought I put together a very solid and interesting application but knowing two days after the Thanksgiving vacation is a great feeling. My whole application process is a prefect example for anyone who starts off with one goal and moves to a much loftier one and has some good fortune. I originally was aiming at schools in Boston in the top 40. BC, BU, and maybe Babson...I wanted a high 600s when I first started studying for the GMAT.

Anyone who doesn't think they are top 10 material, have some faith. I went to a completely no name state college with fewer than 1000 students, so dont let where your UG is keep you from your goals.

Hey thanks everyone for the congrats on my acceptances. I sure hope to see everyone end up in their dream school the coming year. I would like to make a correction on my Wharton offer, i was accepted last year,I deferred it for personal reasons, re-interviewed this year, and somehow i decided to go for Columbia. I apologize that many of you thought i got an offer from Wharton this year, it's a long story and i just wrote it down as a result of my application, did not think of other people panicing for this year's offer. Yes Wharton does not have rolling admission and your offer only comes when everyone's comes. Sorry about the confusion. and congrats or good luck on all of you!

River, it looks like you need to update the complilation thread to show your admit, along with todolist's admit to Columbia.
