Is conditional probability ever tested on the GMAT?
I saw one question on this in the GMAT Club test (m07, q12).

And I just do not understand it.
Is it safe to assume such questions do not show up on the test?

GMAT questions are on a variety of subjects, I would say it is not safe to conclude that no questions of this type will be on the GMAT you take, but I would say if you have only encountered it once so far it would unlikely. Most probability questions are on the higher end of the question pool, so if they do come they would be late and only if you have a high Q score.

Probability is tested on the GMAT - these are the 700+ level questions. I got one on my test and bombed the question.

Basic probability-- not conditional.

You might see a combination + probability question, ie what's the probability of picking a captain, stewardess and 3 passengers from 10 captains, 15 stewardesses and 20 passengers?
