Hi,

I am an engineering student in India, and have just finished the pre-final year of my Bachelors program. I plan to give my GMAT by the end of July 2013, in time for the Indian School of Business' deadline for their Young Leaders Program which is 7th August. What I would want to know is that there would be 4 more schools that I can select to whom I wish to send my official GMAT scores, but since I would be graduating in June 2014 and then I'd like to gain some work experience (If I do not get into ISB YLP) before I finally apply to those schools, would I have to re-send my official scores to the schools, right before I start the application process? I do understand that the GMAT scores have a validity of 5 years, but if suppose I do work for a period of 2 years, then my scores would be 3 years old. Would that have any affect on my chances of getting accepted?

Thank you!

It's very normal to take the test and apply a while later, so don't worry about that. As far as reporting goes, your score doesn't get physically sent to the schools. The schools you've selected are simply able to see your scores online, so there's no need to resend.
