The key-words in the passage are benefits health diesese. This tells us that we are talking about the utility of the experiment in the real life situation. B is the only choice.

B.

(A) Can industrial workers who need to see their work do so better by sunlight or by fluorescent light?
the method used talks about (indoor)fluorescent light and darkness. Sunlight is never experimented so the method will not be applicable.

(B) applicable. similar scenario.

(C) How do deep-sea fish survive in total darkness?
the method did not find any cause-and-effect about how?

(D) What are the inherited illnesses to which hamsters are subject?
same as C. we just know the experiment result. nothing concrete can be said about illnesses.

(E) Are there plants that require specific periods of darkness in order to bloom?
out of scope.
