I pick C!

Its the angiography that involves the introduction of the dye and not the diesase.

here the subject is angiography (sp?) so C it is...

while D sounds OK, but there is no such idiom...depends on the construction and usage...


Method to investigate XYZ is OK

X a sophisticated method for investigating XYZ is also OK..

" involves" in C is incorrectly used...."involves" like this becomes a verb of subject "method" ----> wrong because it makes "a method for diagnosing coronary disease, involves the introduction of dye into the arteries of the heart" a SENTENCE -----> wrong because that quoted part should be an additional phrase of Coronary angiography-----> C is out.
"that" in D indeed modify "a method".
D is my choice.

I think C fits here..

A, B and E seems to indicate that the disease involves the introduction of a dye and not the process itself.

D has a restrictive clause problem where THAT is modifying the disease instead of the process of Coronary angiography.
