Why don't you call the nearest test centre or an 800 number and ask them. I think you can register on the spot if they have seats available.

It all depends on the dates available at the center of interest to you. If you're lucky, you'd get a date soon, if you're not, you might have to wait a while.

in some test centers, you can simply walk in to take the test. if they have a spot available, you are in.
