I got the same question on this test yesterday and I chose E.
If the physicians would give in to patients demand, it is solely because they have come to be aware of the medication thru the advertisements. This, if true, raises a big question on the effectiveness of the proposal.
A - If the patients are alerted, well what do they do? This is open ended and hence inconclusive. If they pressure the physicians, it becomes a useful fact in analysing the argument.
