High-technology medicine is driving up the nation's health care costs.

Ten years ago was more people who want to make surgery but don't have money, today more people have money and do this surgery. So reason is that patients have money on this surgery but not in success of new technology. Incorrect

(E) People who have had unsuccessful cataract surgery are left with more seriously impaired vision than they had before the surgery.
