CR improvement

Hi Can someone please suggest me plan to improve CR. I am struggling majorly with hard questions. I am currently practicing from verbal OG.I have my exam in 1st week of November and I am doing quant currently.

Two things you can do to improve in CR are learn some key strategies and practice untimed to develop skill in analyzing the relationships between answer choices and passages.

By learning strategies, you can improve the way you go about answering questions. There are some key aspects of answering CR questions, for instance identifying how a conclusion is supported, such that, if you know about them and include them every time you answer a type of question, you'll achieve better results.

Then, once you understand the basic steps you should take in answering CR questions of each type, you can develop your skill in taking those steps and figuring out what's going on in the questions by taking all the time you need to answer each question and arrive at an answer that you are virtually sure is correct.

Consider checking out Manhattan-Prep's 6th Edition for CR. In case you find assumption questions tricky, perhaps learn the Negation technique. There's a short video tip on the GMAT Knight blog that shows one how to apply it.

We last discussed your studies in early September. Have you taken any additional practice CATs/mocks since then (and if you did, then how did you score - including the Quant and Verbal Scaled Scores for each CAT?)? What additional study materials have you been using?
