D is the only statement that can be properly drawn from the argument.

Laxie, could you pls share your venn diagram with us? I arrived at D because the others seemed too exaggerated/out of scope. I tried the venn diagram but could not get it right

Thanks

ah,hik, you don't really have to draw a Venn Diagram ..what i meant is the overlap of 53% of taxable income from 38 corporation and 60% of taxable income which comes from foreign source ...this overlap yields what's in D

E? ..I just can't figure out why ...the overlap between two percentages is not big enough for E to use "most" ...moreover, "some" in D is much safer.

Actually, (E) does make sense. 60% conveys a nuance of "most" more than it does "some." Not enough info to make a conclusion from a Venn diagram here.

Both E and D are talking about the overlap of this 53% and that 60% ...not either of them alone ....why we are not sure about the size of the overlap to conclude "most" ...we're certain that there's some belong to overlap ...so "some" in D is more reasonable..
