so, you learn GMAT CR by knowing examples of questions?
well, I learn to detect question types through key words in the question.

I have 1 question.
In logic- responding questions, there will be only one respond about one thing from person B to person A?
for example, person A talks about 3 things: X,Y,Z
person B respond to A about 2 things: Y and Z
This will appear in real GMAT?

Hi all,

Not sure if there's going to be any readers/responders on this thread given it was started quite some time ago - fingers crossed someone will respond though! I just download the CR quick reference PDF and from reading the document, it seems like it's quite helpful. Unfortunately, there's a number of weird abbreviations that I can't understand. Is anyone able to clarify a few question for me?

Is there any chance that there is an updated version of this PDF or perhaps a thread with clarifications?

CR Quick Reference - An incredible one page PDF that has it all
First Rectangle: Stimulus
- "Stated Premise" > 'Conditional Reasoning' > 3. Multiple Sufficient & Necessary Outcomes
What on earth do those tildes mean in the example? ~(Smart & Rich) -> (Grad H & Good Job)

My only goal is to contribute to the community from the which I have taken so much, and ultimately help make the GMAT Club forums a better place to learn. In my posts, I share my learning outcomes by verbalizing how I solved problems, and hope that the added perspective can help anyone achieve an 'ah-hah' moment.

Sometimes it takes a concept being explained in 15 different ways to achieve an 'ah hah' breakthrough moment and I am here to contribute one, of hopefully many, unique perspectives. I do not encourage or participate in posts that simply state "that was easy", or "relevant, out of scope, correct". I find that people - myself included - often have a difficult time truly understanding the fact that in CR/RC questions, there will be one very definitively black and white correct answer, just a there is in Quant. As a result, my posts are exclusively focused on CR and RC. There is no such thing as a 'kinda right' question and because of this, I contribute detailed posts on how I came to my answer in hopes that it will connect with someone.

Wishing everyone all the best
