Less = not countable, Fewer = Countable...eliminate B/D/E

C. tense error? "have fewer seats vs had?"

C,D,and E use "Past Perfect Tense" incorrectly.

We are left with A and B.

With Fewer seats and With lesser seats.

Fewer implies "of a smaller number2

Smaller implies " smaller in size, inferior etc."

Thus answer should be "A"

Why is C wrong? it's using simple past tense only.

(C) has...."stadiums that had fewer seats "...there is no need of past perfect (had) tense here.

A is flawless.
