This is explained MANY times on previous three pages. For (2) a and b can be any integers less than 2, not necessarily 0 and 1.

In terms of A and B and C not being a negative integer how do we rule that out?

Do we just assume because its undefined if it's a factorial that it can never be a negative integer and therefore a median can't exist with an undefined factorial? Does that mean we can only rule it out being negative in statement 1 and can't rule it out in statement 2?

Once we have ascertained from Statement 2 that c! is 2! (i.e. c=2) => Can we not have a set where a! is 0!/ undefined (i.e. {a!, b!, c!} = {0!, 1!, 2!})?

Why is it that 0! cannot be a part of the set? What is the rule here? is it that a set must have defined numbers?
