Hi Paritosh Kumar,

It looks like you missed some of the questions that I asked - and those answers are important since they help to define your current skills in more detail and your big-picture goals:

3) How have you scored on each of your CATs (including the Quant and Verbal Scaled Scores for each)?
4) What is your goal score?

6) When are you planning to apply to Business School?
7) What Schools are you planning to apply to?

Quant range between 46 to 49 and verbal averages between 30 to 34.
My goal is just 700 .
I am aiming to apply for schools in Canada and Australia basically.
Open for Asian B schools also such as NUS, NTU, and some B schools in Hong Kong.
I am planing to apply for next admission open .

Hi Paritosh Kumar,

When I asked how you scored on each of your CATs (including the Quant and Verbal Scaled Scores for each), I wanted the exact score results on each of your CATs - not the 'range' in your scores. Your specific CAT scores are important, as they help to define whether there is a score progression (increasing/decreasing) or not and whether there are any 'outliers' in your performances or not. It's possible that you're 'stuck' at a particular score level right now - and if that's the case, then the advice that I would offer would differ from what I would offer if you were consistently improving.

Hello gmatclub experts and members,

I am an Indian male working in power sector . I need a help regarding my decision to join magoosh for improvement in my verbal section of GMAT.
I have been preparing for quite sometime and my verbal score ranges from 30 to 34.
I want to increase it to atleast 38 or 39. And RC is my greatest weakness.
So will it be right to join magoosh now. Have planned to appear in GMAT next month.

I will be truly obliged or your kind suggestions and feedbacks.

Regards
Paritosh Kumar

I am a big fans of Magoosh. Have been using Magoosh since April and now I am in my last month of preparation.

1. Magoosh break the concept video in smaller chunk and extremely easy to watch everywhere. I use it when waiting and any other circumstances. Huge plus for this.
2. Magoosh practice test is completed with all video explanation for each question. I really enjoy working on its test and then watch the explanation rather than read the explanation.
3. Magoosh helpdesk is a hidden gen for me. They answer all of my question immediately and with very detail and comprehensive explanation. I praise them much for this feature.

To make it clear, I also use E-GMAT and gain many valuable lessons form it. Compared with E-GMAT, Magoosh seems more straightforward in their teaching. Mike McGarry is one of the best teachers in GMAT in my opinion.

Hope this helps!
