Confused what to do.
You’re coming from an unconventional industry mix (EdTech + Study abroad consulting + Technical background), which makes your story unique if framed correctly. No GMAT score yet. This is the most urgent challenge.
Follow-up questions for you:
1. Do you plan to pivot into consulting or continue in sales leadership post-MBA?
2. Are you considering applying for 1-year vs. 2-year MBA programs? (like INSEAD vs. Kellogg FT)
4. Have you built international collaborations in your recent roles?
5. Any managerial P&L, GTM strategy, or digital transformation experience you can highlight?
We would love to learn more about your academic background, extracurricular activities, professional experience, and personal journey so we can offer a more tailored assessment of your profile and evaluate your chances at your target schools more accurately. If you'd like, feel free to book a profile evaluation session.

Priyanka here from ARINGO. Speaking about your profile, you have built a strong 8-year career with real leadership progression, from sales roles at BYJU'S to heading abroad education initiatives. This upward mobility, especially in high-growth sectors, is a solid asset. Your GPA is decent, but as an Indian male with an engineering background, your GMAT will play a crucial role, especially for top U.S. and European schools.
Schools like INSEAD, LBS, and Kellogg will appreciate your global exposure and leadership, while places like H/S/W will want a mission-driven story with broader impact. The shift from sales to consulting must be clearly explained, as adcoms will look for clarity and purpose. You have a long list of schools that you are targeting, focus on categorizing your school list into, target, reach and safety schools, this will help you get more clarity. To move forward smartly, it will be crucial for you to highlight the motivation behind your pivot to consulting.

Thanks for your Response i am preparing for my GMAT as of now once i am about to give i will surely Contact you!
You’ve moved rapidly from EdTech BDA to Sales Head in abroad education, and your institutional experience is backed by managerial breadth. Your GPA (~8.12) is competitive. The crux now is the GMAT, which remains unknown. For top-tier schools (Harvard, Wharton, Stanford), aim for 730+ to match the brand and trajectory you’ve built.
Your school list spans M7, INSEAD, LBS, and other global leaders. I’d recommend prioritizing based on geographic preference and function alignment (globally-focused vs. U.S.-centric). You have a compelling story of scaling and leadership; clarity in the MBA rationale (why MBA and why now) will be key.
You’re in the upper echelons of non-traditional applicants. With the right GMAT and tight essays, you can play with the top cohort.
