"the status has changed little" does just that - it compares the current "state" to the "state" of the women before

how much before is suggested by the use of "last century". Also, the use of present tense "is" in B is a no no - apart from the use of "a little" which suggests that the status has changed, albeit not a lot

yeah... "is" = not correct

"how it has been" is unecessary because the sentence says last century.

only leaves C.
