I noticed that people with the same break up in Quant and Verbal are getting different overall scores. Is this normal?

For example:

Q49 V33 -> 680
Q49 V33 -> 670

Yes...there are different levels for each number score. You can be at the high end of the 47Q vs the low end. Like an in the american system an 80 and an 83 were both B-'s

I also saw scores of 680 with Q49 and V32

so a lower score on Q and V with higher overall score

must have something to do with subdivisions in Q and V I guess
