Hi,
Would like to know for the 2nd essay about 'Values". Are you writing examples of recent times, I mean adulthood or quoting an example for childhood is also fine? Can anybody provide some insight - alumni, current student or applicants - what is your take on this essay?

Hi mavericky,

Would also like to add a question from Essay 1 here - how ‘recent’ should the recent example of leadership be?

Generally our values are formed from experiences - and also, experience/activities that are most rewarding to you reveal your values.
Think about something you enjoy, where you are in the zone, and what value is embedded in that. I think it's OK to use a childhood example only if you can show how that experience shaped you into who you are today, and give the reader a good sense of how that value shows up in your current day life. mavericky
