I am posting this in the Georgetown section because Georgetown's Director is quoted in it, but the gist is that, in general, more women are going to business school and helping close a gender gap at the C-level.

How do you guys feel about this development, in terms of the dropping enrollment and surge of female applicants? Can this help close a gender gap at the top level? Can this help stave off a decline in MBA applicants moving forward?

I am hoping for a general discussion that goes beyond Georgetown!

I think women would agree with me when I say this-
They would rather be taken in as an equal and as a "on par" category into a B-school than being accepted on mercy of the adcom giving them leeway on GPA, GMAT and what not.
Moreover, I do believe that everyone should be given an equal opportunity.
