I have 15+ years in IT field, and am B.Tech+M.Tech in Computer Science from India. I am currently working as a Program Manager of an IT-outsource-engagement, working with a client in Manufacturing.

I am interested in doing a program that value-adds to my current profile, and gives me chance to learn more about industry, manufacturing processes etc. Currently I feel that my knowlede is stagnating and I am becoming very redundant in my field. I love to learn and am eager to develop some specialization area(s).

Due to my job responsibilities, I can do only online/distance learning programs. I am ready to work on GMAT, if required.

Can you suggest some good online programs that can give me more insight and business knowledge, as well as add value in my current role?

I am looking at all the options, either short programs or entire degree program, as long as they give me the lost edge.

I also saw an online certificate program in Penn state. Do you think it is worth the money? It will be around $7k.

It depends how important supply chain management is to you. There are less expensive certificate programs in business available online. However, these other schools do not have the same level of expertise in supply chain managment as Penn State/Smeal.
