Hi all,

Requesting a profile evaluation.

GMAT: 750 (Q51, V 40), AWA 6.0, IR 6
Origin: Indian

Age: 28

Academics: Bachelors in Chemical Engineering: (7.86/10)
Post Grad Diploma in Industrial Engineering Management (7.83/10)

Work Experience: 78 months (at matriculation - assuming Fall 2013 intake) in one of the leading consumer goods companies.

Have had 3 roles so far with good leadership experiences.

1. In my first role I worked on designing and implementing a key strategy project for the company.

2. In my second role, I was a sales manager and led a team of 22 people (with 540 indirect subordinates) and managed a business unit with a turnover of 135 Mn $ p.a.

3. In my third role, I am the brand manager for the south asian region for one of the biggest foods brands in the world. Handle a business with a turnover of 38 Mn $ and am responsible for topline and bottomline.

Extra curriculars: Several significant and varied extra curriculars.

a) Winner of a business plan competition hosted by a leading antivirus software company
b) an amateur national level quizmaster - I have hosted over 30 quiz shows
c) Manager of a quizzing club in college
d) Was the group head for an online business challenge

Wanted to know your opinion on my chances for the following colleges:

1. HBS
2. Wharton
3. LBS
5. Kellogs
6. IMD

You have some great stuff here! I mean I would love to know more about your profile so we can really dig in and see what we can pull out of it, but basically with a 750 plus so much REAL leadership and responsibility, there is no reason for you to apply to schools out of the top 10. I feel you are are Top school material.

Make sure your goals make sense in terms of the leadership experience you have already gathered, and if you have some great essays and great recommendations, you should have a real shot at the best of schools (including all those on your list). Otherwise, emphasize HARD on your leadership (I LEAD a team of 540!!! (indirect leads count too!) ) Love it.
