People post the OA!!

IMHO:C

Dr.A has arrived on his conclusion and he is sticking to it.The evidence presented does'nt deter him.He is not presenting any evidence to his belief.C duplicates this.

In B,the author is giving a reason.BECAUSE he does'nt trust the person he will not buy the milk.>Eliminate

I d say C....If you look carefully at the quetion..It checks the reasoning of A ...He says a statement without the backing of any credible proof or statistical data.

Only C doesnot have a statistical backing.

I've seen this before and remember the answer as C.
reason was that both Dr's analysis and the analysis in C has messed-up cause-affect

The OA is C. C is the only answer with no backing and is only based on an opinion.

this is circular reasoning, i.e., someone is stating something is effective because he thinks it's effective. That someone didn't mention why it's good or effective, and his only reasoning for it is because he thinks it's good. In this questions we need to look for reasoning similar to that. In C there is no mentioning why he thinks the balls are good; he just thinks they are effective.
so the answer is C
