Hi. Can somebody explain why if David's salary is more than 8/5 times Jphn0s salary then David's salary increase would be greater?
Please ellaborate with algebra

Ecano,
Refer to the anwers in the OG-10 which is explanation is straightforward. As there is no hard numbers for David's and John's salary in both statement, neither statements are sufficient. Percentage does not mean anything if there is no number for that percentage.So the ans is E.
