hi all,

i have a quick question. I know pple might have different opinions but which is generally considered tougher to answer correctly, DS or PS questions. this is considering timing and all other factors that accompany the GMAT test .. in short are DS questions tougher than PS questions?

thanks

I definitely feel DS are tougher, because they are more trickier.

DS naturally is harder (because it is a unique question type that you probably have not worked with before and thus require extra prep). However, since GMAT is an adaptive test, it knows the level of difficulty of every PS and DS question, so the relative difficulty of the two will be the same when presented to you on the GMAT (it is just that DS math may be slightly easier since the format is harder). Not to confuse, but the end result is that you will see easier Math in the DS questions. Does that make sense?
