If "Each of the salespeople" was not followed by "that", what would the sentence have was/were?

If "each of [GROUP]" is the subject of a verb, then it's always singular—because "each" indicates a discussion of one thing/person at a time.

"any of the other sales team members", what would it be followed with was/were?

"Any of [GROUP]" is also singular by default.

I am fairly certain, however, that the GMAT does not test singular/plural issues with "any" or "none".
